My name is Kalyn and I am a Pinterest addict! I joined last month and I have become obsessed. Where was this when I was getting married? Or planning Eliza's nursery? This would have made my life so much less stressful.
I really enjoy finding recipes, my crock-pot is my best friend. Here is my recipe board. Eliza has been crawling since she was 5 months so spending time cooking dinner just isn't an option right now. Our first floor is an open floor plan and the doorways are way too big for a gate so she pretty much has an open drag way. She knows how to bolt for the stairs and if she hears me running after her she laughs until she almost falls over.

I love finding crafts to do on Pinterest. Being a stay at home mom can be difficult. I am so blessed to be able to stay at home with Eliza but at times I find myself wondering what to do. At first the basic thought was just SURVIVE, now that we have a great routine, a great relationship, I find myself wanting to do more. The seasons are starting to change and we are going to be inside more, I need to have a hobby. I want to be the mom that has the house decorated for every season and holiday. I want to be baking with my hair perfect and dressed to the T. Well...I have started with the decorating at least, I am still in my pjs and my hair in a pony tail. Here are a few crafts I made this week:
Burlap Wreathe |
Mummy Pumpkin |
Our Super Hero, The Queen, and The Baby Girl |
Eliza is at a really fun age now. She is able to entertain herself, entertain me, or just hang out and watch. I love taking her in my crafting room with me. I craft in our guest bedroom. She has toys and books in there to play with but tends to find all of my supplies the most entertaining. Her favorite is my Cricut machine, she claps anytime it starts to cut. I am really enjoying this age with her, can I keep her at 9 months just a few months longer?
I am trying something new and joining some linky parties this week! As always, feel free to leave comments.

My email is rowmerrilyblog at live dot com, if it's easier to respond that way. Or visit my blog and leave me a comment there! www.rowmerrily.blogspot.com

Eliza is a precious little one. Such a cutie. She reminds me of my great-nephew when he was little.
