Again, like I said yesterday, we shouldn't need a holiday to remind us to be thankful, and voice it. I don't even know where to begin to describe how thankful I am for Mark-my best friend, my rock, my truth, my light, the one who gave me the greatest gift of all.
Mark works a thankless job, hours on end-at work and home, just so I can stay home with Eliza. As soon as he gets in he gives Eliza everything he has, for the entire time she is up. The joy that fills her face the minute he walks in melts my heart. He is the best hands on dad I could ask for, anything she needs, he is willing to do. He never gets a break, but he never asks for one either.
I am so thankful that he encourages me to do what I want, rarely says no(in a good way), and always puts us first. He does whatever he can to make my day easier and better. He is incredibly smart, funny, compassionate, and it doesn't hurt that he is gorgeous.
Thank you Mark for being...you!
