Today I am thankful for our local library. While trying not to spend money, I am finding more activities for Eliza and I to do. The weather has taken a turn for the worst lately so no more parks, beaches, or walks. We have been to the library before but at this age Eliza still puts everything in her mouth so I get frustrated there. We go in and grab books, crawl around a bit and leave. Today I tried to stay longer, we had a lot of fun, she even found an Elmo doll(he is second to Chica). I was so thankful to find they have shelf after shelf of Elmo dvds. I have a hard time finding movies of just Elmo, she isn't really interested in the other characters. We snagged 3 dvds and some crafting magazines for mom and headed out the door.
The best part of the visit-Eliza had some gas this morning and as we were walking she farted, I looked at her and said "Eliza!"(in a silly tone) she looked at me, shook her head, and pointed to the guy next to us. I about dropped her I was laughing so hard. I wish she knew what she just "said".
I am also thankful for some sunshine today. Eliza and I were able to go for a walk in the wagon, she just loves it. I was also able to lay my diapers out to get some sun. The sun takes out most of the stains in cloth diapers. I wish I was able to have a clothes line, unfortunately the deck bench will have to do.
I am also thankful for Wayfair!! The toys I ordered this weekend arrived. Even though it is No Spend Second Week of November I still got surprises in the mail, hey I already paid for them-can't send them back! We got Eliza an AWESOME retro kitchen, an espresso wood toy box that matches our family room perfectly, and a bubble blowing lawn mower. All of this for $80 because of their clearance sale. Check it out if you haven't.
Also...why do we buy toys when boxes are just as fun??
I hope you have a great day, remember to be thankful for the little things too.
