I know these wreaths have been going around for a while, but I usually just see Christmas, I needed one for fall.
I LOVE the way it turned out. It is so pretty and warm!
Here is a very quick rundown of what you need, you can see more detailed directions at Six Sisters Stuff.
Here are the items you need:
Bulbs, I used medium and small and two different colors
Wire Hanger
Hot Glue
Ribbon
Start out by making your hanger into a circle. I undid the the hook and made it flat. I could have left it and used it to hang the wreath by...I probably will for my next one.
Once it is undone start stringing your bulbs. I would recommend hot gluing the tops on the bulbs because as they get pushed into each other the pressure can pop them off.
It is going to look weird at first. It is going to look too spread out but the more you put on, the fuller it becomes and the closer they get.
I made sure to put the smaller bulbs about every 4-6 bulbs to fill in the gaps.
Keep going around the wreath until you get to the end. I twisted the wire back together and laid it flat, again you can twist the hook back together to use it to hang the wreath.
I then made a bow and wrapped the ribbon through the wreath.
This is a pretty easy thing to make. The hardest part was finding the colored bulbs I wanted at a reasonable price...they were pretty expensive still.
Hope you love it like we do!!
