Each time I go to post about your age, I try to find something profound to say. Something that describes you perfectly. Words to tell you how much I love you.
I struggle each time.
The words never come out right. They are never strong enough, big enough, or loving enough to describe my feelings for you.
You are my world.
I can not believe it has been 2 years. I look at you run down the hall or yell for me over the stair case and can't believe all you can do. Each day there is something new and I scramble to write it down so I remember.
Here are a few of your newest things.
You now know your name is Eliza Ernest, although you have started to call yourself Eliza Stinky-poo, we aren't sure where this came from.
Your vocabulary has gone through the roof, it would take me days to write all of the words you know.
At night, after prayers, you and I work on your letters. You can currently recognize O, R, S, M, N, P, Q, X, Y.
You got to play in the snow for the first time this month.
You always want to know everyone's name, you refer to them at "this guy" until I tell you their name.
For your birthday we stayed home and played with toys then went to the ceramics place and you painted a dog. We then went to dinner with daddy and Mimi and came home to have cake and open gifts from Mimi and Gigi.
Here are pictures from your 2nd birthday! Your party is this Sunday, you are so excited!!
