When your birthday is in the winter here in Michigan, it can be difficult to think of ways to celebrate. No parties at the park, swimming in the pool, or picnics at the lake. Mark and I were searching for a place to have Eliza's party this year. We thought about swim school, dance class, gymnastics and many other places but none of them were working out, then Mark had a great idea. Something Eliza loves more than anything is going to the puppy store. She likes to go and play with puppies! Mark said, we should just take her to the puppy store, then it clicked. Our local Family Puppy has a party room in the back, how perfect!
We got right up that day and went to the Family Puppy to work out the details. We got the party room for 2 hours. In those 2 hours the kids got to play with all of the puppies, make their own build a bear stuffed animal, and celebrate her birthday in the party room.
We had so much fun! We decided to ask all of Eliza's friends to bring donations for the Humane Society in lieu of gifts for Eliza. We all know she has plenty of toys!
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the day!!

This seriously is the BEST party idea ever for kids. Good job! I loved all the photos :)
I definitely can't take credit for the idea, but it was the best! It is hard to think of ideas for the winter when they are this little. If Kinley likes puppies, they encourage you come in and "exercise" a dog even if you have no intention of buying. Great place to go on a gloomy day!
