I Can't Believe It

When we purchased our home almost 5 years ago, we thought it would be our forever home. We bought a home bigger than we needed, but big enough for the family we envisioned. After a few months though, we knew this house wasn't it.

As I have mentioned in the past, the neighborhood is more than we can handle. There are a lot of kids, too many kids, and unfortunately only a handful Eliza's age. The houses are close to each other, closer than we would like, and the school district isn't as good as we thought.

Years ago we started watching for a new house. Unfortunately  we bought our home the summer before the housing market fell in Michigan. We weren't sure we would EVER be able to move.

But here we are. House in escrow, a deposit on our new house, and A LOT of boxes to pack.

So here's to the Summer of 2013, and the new location of the Ernest home!!

I was sitting at my Uncle's the other day thinking about how awesome the location of his home is. I hate it where we live. I'd give anything for some peace and quiet. Maybe one of these days. I'm so glad things worked out for you & yours :)

Angie,

Don't give up hope. 5 years ago I never would have thought we would be able to move. If you can, keep doing little updates to your home so when you are ready to sell, it will be up to date and have an edge above the rest of the homes in your area. Good Luck!
