Ride 'Em Cowgirl!

Lately I have been trying to think of new activities for Eliza to try. I want to make sure she has had exposure to a lot of different things in life. I want her to do what she loves.

Today, we tried horse back riding. My college roommate teaches riding lessons at a barn near by and invited us to come check it out. 

We invited Mimi to come with us, we did riding lessons together when we were little and she always loved horses.

We started off small, checking out the donkeys

Then Miss Laura went out to the yard and got Scotch

They were instant friends!!

Laura took Scotch in to get ready to ride and we got to hang and look at the other riders!

She wasn't too thrilled with the helmet, but safety first. Unfortunately, it was a little too big. We will have to bring her bike helmet next time.

Mimi walked around with her, she wants to take lessons with her!

We had a great time. We are so thankful Laura invited us. Eliza might be a little young for lessons, but we will definitely go back to visit our new friends!!

Now that the weather is warming up, I would love to try more activities. Any suggestions? We have done dance, swimming, gymnastics and now horse back riding.
