What A Bore!!

I am so lame. I haven't blogged in over a week, I wish it was due to lack of time, unfortunately it is just due to lack of excitement!

Life has been business as usual over here. Dance class is done for the summer so we tried out gymnastics again last week, it wasn't a hit like before. She was very cautious of all of the equipment, maybe her sense of height is increasing and realizing she could fall has kind of scared her.

Unfortunately, she had to get caught up on her shots. We do a delayed shot schedule and she was due for her DTAP. That includes the tetanus vaccine and as an adult I can still remember how painful that one was. She was NOT happy. She did not see the needle, but she saw the bandaid on her leg after, so she was pretty sure the bandaid was causing the pain...we now have a fear of bandaids.

Eliza enjoyed her first movie at the movie theater. She rocked! We went to go see Monsters University and she lasted the entire time. Her tiny bumm isn't heavy enough to hold the seats down, even with the booster, so she enjoyed standing or sitting on my lap. I think she was even more excited for her popcorn.

My Uncle had to have some eye surgery and Eliza and I volunteered to be his chauffeur for the day. It was a tough one, we had to be up by 6am, but like always she was a trooper. She loves her Unca Ike(Uncle Mike) and was so happy to help him. We didn't get back home until about 2pm and she was beat. I have to say, something messed with her internal clock that day and she now thinks we should get up at 6am EVERY day. I am not sure where the reset button is on this clock, but I need to get it back to her normal 8am!!

We took a special trip to Build a Bear when we were at the mall. I saw they have a new Disney Princess inspired bear and we decided to add it to our collection. She is still thinking of a name.

We are working really hard on holding onto the car when we are in the parking lot. At times I will be putting stuff in or out and don't have an extra hand for her. She used to hold the tire but she can now reach the gas tank so she holds her square. I am trying to make this a habit for when the baby comes.

Speaking of babies, here is a baby bump. Well, not much of it. I am 18weeks here and still not much to show(to me at least.)

Here I am 16weeks with Eliza, I guess I didn't have a picture at 18

Hopefully this bump will grow and make a bigger appearance soon.

Mark had to go out of town for a few days so I decided to get into a new show on Netflix.

I know, I am pretty late to this party, but I never caught it on tv before. It isn't the most thought provoking show, but it has kept my interest.

Well, I am off to get the day going. This one is currently fascinated by the latest invention...a spoon with a straw attached...cereal will never be the same.

My son is terrified of bandaids! I thought he was the only one. He's 3 and if you put a bandaid on him he goes into fits!

We collected build a bears for my oldest daughter too. She still at 13 has a whole drawer of build a bear clothes. I kid and say their wardrobe cost as much as mine!!!

Hope you all are having a nice summer :)
