I'll be honest, I don't remember if I mentioned it or not, but Mark was recruited to go to a new company back in March, and he finally started this week! I am SO happy for him. He is able to work from home 3 days a week and go in the office 2 days. When we move to the new house we will be only 5 miles from his office, huge difference from driving an hour each way to work at his previous job!
Eliza was very proud of him too! She enjoys telling everyone that her daddy has a new job, even the gas station clerk

Eliza's sign for Mark on his first day of his new job |
She has this new obsession with the Fairy Godmother from Cinderella. We haven't watched Cinderella in weeks but all of a sudden she has started to Bippity Boppity Boo us. She usually turns me into a cat or a frog, heaven forbid you turn her into anything!!

I was hoping she was going to Boo me to nap time, but nope just another cat |
I am so happy, I finally replaced the pictures in Eliza's bedroom. She has a few frames in there and they have been the same since she was born. They were pictures of Mark and me from my maternity session. We updated it to our gender reveal pictures. Now she is excited to point out all 4 of us in the photos, Lady Bug is in my belly :)
I ran to the craft store to get a few supplies for some projects I am working on and came across these little mini birdhouses, it was a perfect project for Eliza. She LOVED to paint it, I will definitely be watching more more painting crafts.
I belong to a few garage sale groups on Facebook. They are the greatest things! Just join your local group and instead of driving around to garage sales, people post pictures of what they want to sell. Look at this! She is in HEAVEN!!
We didn't make it out of the woman's driveway before she insisted on putting it on, as in "MOMMY PULL OVER!!". All I heard for the 10 minute car ride home "arrgghhhh I pirate!"
Another great garage sale find, have you ever heard of Me Reader? It comes with a few different books, the kids select the book on a little handheld device and it reads it to them. They select which page they are on by pushing the corresponding color(great for practicing colors) and then it reads it. I love it! She will entertain herself for hours! When mommy needs a little couch time, the Me Reader saves the day!
My best friend from high school was in town with her family. It was so great to see them. They live in Florida and even though I talk to her everyday, it isn't the same. We haven't seen them since last year when we met up in Myrtle Beach. We took a trip to the Splash Park but it was a tad cold for their Florida blood so we headed over to the Farm! I love our town!
To wrap up the weekend we went to the movies as a family. Mark hasn't been with Eliza before so he was excited to join us. We saw Turbo, she loved it!

Isn't this how all kids sit? |
We don't have much planned for the week ahead, hoping some Fall Raspberries ripen so we can go picking! Friday is the first preseason game for the Lions, you better believe I will be there!!!
Hope you had a good week!

Having more Hubby/Daddy time is always amazing! I'd say your Little One is just loving it. I know when my Hubby was off for 2 weeks on vacation, my 2 year old wouldn't leave his side. He was so disappointed when Dad had to finally go back to work!!!
@Angie Yes, she is a little confused when he does go to work. Tomorrow will be hard, he has been home for 4 days straight. Luckily we have swim class to distract her!
