A Month On Placenta Pills
I wanted to give you guys an update on the Placenta Encapsulation.
When I first came home from the hospital I started taking the pills. My life was in a whirlwind trying to figure out life with 2 kids so I am not sure how much they helped. Unfortunately, a few days after being home I broke out into a severe allergic reaction. While the DR tried to figure out what it was from, she advised me to stop taking my pills.
After figuring out my reaction was to the medical tape(it was horrific) I started up on my pills again. I was only taking 2 pills per day as I wanted to go into it slowly. I instantly saw a difference. Though I was running on just a few hours of sleep each night, I still had energy throughout the day. My milk production was keeping up with everything Emelia needed and I was even able to start storing some in the freezer for the future.
I have been taking 2 pills daily for about a month now, as I wanted to have them last as long as possible, and I am loving how I feel. I have not had to go back on my anxiety medication, I am still able to freeze milk and for the most part, my energy level is still up.
I recently started to feel ill. I had a fever and Sinus Infection. I doubled up my pills the first day I noticed it and it was better by the morning. I am sure the placenta pills helped me kick the infection.
I only have about a week left of pills and I am really bummed. It is so nice knowing I am not putting toxins and medicine in my body that I don't need and that I don't want being transferred over to Emelia.
If we have future children I will absolutely do Placenta Encapsulation with Mothers Own. Courtney was so sweet to work with, incredibly professional and very knowledgeable. If you are in the Metro Detroit area and would like more information contact Courtney or head on over to her Facebook page!
